Who We Are
Christians of Swansea is a platform connecting Christians across Swansea by helping people discover local churches, Christian events, ministries and opportunities to pray together.
We exist to encourage connection, prayer and collaboration across the Christian community, helping believers find opportunities to worship, grow in faith, serve others and make Jesus known.
Christians of Swansea
Our Vision
Uniting Christians in Swansea through shared prayer, faith, mission, and gospel opportunities
Our vision is to see Christians across Swansea encouraged, connected with churches and ministries supported as they serve their communities
Christians of Swansea exists to highlight the churches, ministries, events and prayer opportunities taking place across our city — helping believers discover ways to worship, fellowship, serve and share the gospel.
We hope to encourage greater unity within the Christian community, while recognising and respecting the different traditions and convictions that exist among believers.
We pray for God's renewal and the growth of His kingdom in Swansea, Wales and beyond.
What We Believe
Christians of Swansea affirms the historic Christian faith expressed in the Nicene Creed. This shared statement of faith has united Christians across centuries while recognising that believers from different traditions may understand and practice aspects of faith differently.
One God
We believe in one God, the Father Almighty Creator of all things — seen and unseen. He is holy, eternal, and holds all creation in His hands.
The Trinity
We believe in one God who exists eternally as three persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each is fully God and worthy of all worship.
Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully human. He was born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, was crucified, died, and buried for our sins. He rose from the dead, then ascended into heaven, where He reigns with the Father. He will return and bring His kingdom in full.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is fully God, the giver of life, co-equal with the Father and the Son. He inspired the prophets in the past and continues to work powerfully in the Church today.
The Church
We believe in one, holy, catholic (universal) and apostolic Church — the global family of all who follow Jesus. The Church is Christ’s body on earth, called to worship God, share the good news, and make disciples..
Salvation
We believe that Jesus came to save us. Through His life, death, and resurrection, He offers forgiveness for our sins and the gift of eternal life.
Resurrection & Eternal Life
We believe that Jesus will return to make all things new. He’ll raise the dead, right every wrong, and bring His people into eternal life, a future filled with joy, justice, and restoration.
Baptism
Baptism is a gift from God and a sign of faith, forgiveness, and new life in Christ.
It marks our welcome into God’s family and our union with Jesus in His death and resurrection.
Marriage
We believe marriage is a covenant relationship established by God between one man and one woman, reflecting God's purposes for human relationships and family.
Creation and Humanity
We believe that every person is created by God in His image and has inherent dignity and value. We believe God created humanity as male and female as part of His good design for creation.
How We Work
Christians of Swansea is a growing, independently run initiative. As a small self-funded project, we rely on the support, prayers and contributions of the wider Christian community as we continue developing this resource.
We work by:
Sharing Christian events and activities across Swansea.
Helping people discover local churches and ministries.
Encouraging prayer for churches, organisations and the wider community.
Building bridges between Christians from different traditions.
Providing a welcoming starting point for those exploring Christianity.
Meet the Founder
Christians of Swansea was founded by Isaac in the summer of 2025, who had a vision to help Christians across Swansea discover what is happening across the wider Christian community and encourage greater connection, prayer and collaboration.
Isaac is part of an Anglican Church in Swansea and is passionate about helping Christians from different traditions and denominations work together around their shared faith in Jesus Christ.
